The Medigenomics project successfully developed a centralized platform for genomic data analysis in the Community of Madrid, integrating massive sequencing data with consent management.
Combining the entire sequencing analysis process on a single platform would improve diagnostic efficiency and effectiveness, cutting down on time and sample handling. Genomcore, an innovative computerised platform could analyse, compile and store genomic information of healthy and ill individuals.
Medigenomics, 50% co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through a grant awarded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, worked with Genomcore Professional Services in Bioinformatics and Frontdesk.
