Vice president of Spanish Government, Nadia Calviño, visited Genomcore and Made of Genes offices to take an interest and learn first-hand about the exciting and innovative projects we are involved in. This is a big recognition for Genomcore as a pioneering and innovative company in multimodal data management to make personalized medicine a reality.
During his visit, we had the opportunity to present to the Vice President Calviño, the Government Delegate to Catalonia Carlos Prieto and the Mayor of Esplugues de Llobregat, Pilar Diaz our team, led by Dr. Oscar Flores Guri and Miquel A. Bru Angelats, together with Dr. Laura Isus, Dr. Miquel Ràmia-Jesús, Dr. Monica Diez Fairen, PhD and Yaiza Dueñas Grados.
Together, we shared the progress and achievements of two key projects: Dipcan the largest publicly funded project in Spain for an artificial intelligence (AI) oncology platform, and Medea, is a project from the SES (Extremadura Health Service) focused on personalized medicine and patient-centric care, aiming to use genetic information along with other relevant health data to optimize prescriptions.
