Project

Personalized medicine for a Spanish region

The project involved the deployment of Genomcore BIMS, a modular platform supporting the entire clinical genomics lifecycle—from raw data processing to clinical reporting. The system supports primary, secondary, and tertiary NGS analysis, integrates seamlessly with healthcare systems, and enables role-based data access. The infrastructure was scaled to all genomic units in Osakidetza, facilitating both clinical and research use. Training and custom use-case modules ensured adoption and optimal deployment across departments.

Osagen used features such as: Unified Multimodal Datastore (UMD), full NGS pipelines, visual and customizable interface, ACMG and AMP variant classification (manual and automated), interoperability via APIs and standard ontologies (HPO, HGNC, OMIM...), role-based access and pseudonaymization tools and integration with external platforms.
